About Word in Motion
I started to choreograph dances by using a sign language book and the dance began to grow. The Lord gave me the interpretations of the songs. I learned that the dance is not based on ability and performance but rather an expression of my worship. Dancing in his grace brings blessing to the Lord and to others.
The arts have been originally designed by the Lord to bring glory to Him but the devil stole the creative seed from the church. I believe the Lord has now restored creativity to his body. We now, as his children need to dance and be a blessing to the church.
The name “Word in Motion” came as an understanding just how powerful the arts can be to minister His word. The word is motion during movement. Interpretation of words to a song can bring understanding to the unbeliever and believer. One not only “hears” the word but also “sees” it.
My vision is to use the arts to minister His word in the church and to the world.
